Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American performer and actor who started her career through innovative raps which addressed gender and ethnic identities from a the most comical of perspectives. She then expanded into Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. In her schooling, she specialized in women's studies and journalism. She studied Mandarin during a time in Beijing. Not until after graduation did her focus shift to music. After becoming famous on the Internet the My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained was other hits that went viral, including Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. The resume of her included the musician and author. She was now looking to expand her career into acting. In addition to early series that included Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored many notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
