Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American screen and stage actor and producer. She is most famous as an actress in films for her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is actively involved in theater, film, as well as television. Her acting career began in the theater. Then she appeared on several television shows in independent films, mainstream and movies. She was known for appearing as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The series both received critical acclaim, but she also won a lot of awards. In 1995, she was the first to appear as Ariel on stage in The Tempest. She has performed as a character on Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. She is most well-known for her role in the series Men of Honor as well as The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. On television, her part in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
